C Corrections

A strong claim should be easy to challenge.

Corrections are part of the research architecture. The goal is to distinguish quiet copyediting from changes that materially alter a factual or analytical claim.

Correction standard

Show what changed when the meaning changed.

Typographical fixes that do not change meaning may be corrected silently. A material factual correction, source correction, attribution change, or substantive analytical revision should receive a dated note on the affected page or in the project update stream.

Disagreement is not automatically an error. Where evidence supports multiple interpretations, the appropriate response may be to add the competing interpretation or tighten the uncertainty language rather than declare one side “corrected.”

Raise a correction

Point to the exact claim and the strongest evidence available.

Unprogrammable.org no longer runs a local correction form. Cross-project contact is routed through Built To Resist in the wider Ghrisx ecosystem.

No substantive correction notice has been published in this release.

This is a genuine zero, not a hidden count. Future notices should identify the affected page, date, original problem, correction, and whether the interpretation changed.
